Staying Here
Harmony Creek is a self-managed stay in a quiet rainforest setting.
Accommodation is private, self-contained, and designed for calm, independent living — supporting presence rather than distraction.
This is a place shaped by rhythm, not schedules.
Your Time, Your Rhythm
You decide how your time unfolds — whether that means slow mornings, long walks, time by the creek, or simply doing very little at all.
The property borders a large stretch of World Heritage–listed rainforest and a private creek, creating a strong sense of seclusion. Occasional sounds from neighbours may be noticeable, but the overall feeling remains unhurried and open.
Spaces Designed for Presence
The buildings and outdoor areas are intentionally uncluttered and closely connected to the surrounding rainforest.
They provide what is necessary for a comfortable stay, without excess.
Natural light, airflow, and proximity to forest and water shape the experience of moving through the space — encouraging attentiveness, and ease rather than stimulation.
Accommodation
Harmony Creek offers two private accommodation options — The House and The Cottage — each fully self-contained and designed for independent stays.
Rather than presenting a hierarchy, the choice reflects how you wish to stay:
The House - more space for shared living, or
The Cottage - a smaller, more intimate retreat.
Full details for each option, including layouts and booking availability, are provided on the Accommodation page.
The Platform
An elevated platform beside the creek provides a stable, open area for quiet activities such as meditation, stretching, yoga, or reflection.
Its position within the forest and close to flowing water offers a calm, private setting connected to the natural environment.
The Gardens
Surrounding the accommodation, the gardens extend the forest’s quiet rhythm. Native Fan palms and Black palms rise through the canopy, sheltering a lush understorey of King ferns, tree ferns, figs, and Lillypillies.
The gardens sit between cultivated space and rainforest edge, creating shaded paths, layered textures, and a strong sense of enclosure.
They offer room for unhurried movement, observation, or simple stillness, with changing light and sound throughout the day.
The Orchard
Beyond the gardens, a small tropical fruit orchard offers another expression of the land’s abundance.
Mangosteen, durian, jackfruit, sapotes, and other seasonal fruits grow here and may be available for guests to enjoy when ripe.
The orchard is part of the living landscape of Harmony Creek — something to notice, wander through, and occasionally share in.
Off-Grid Comfort
Harmony Creek is off-grid and self-sufficient, powered by solar energy and supplied by rainwater.
Systems are designed to support reliable, low-impact living in the rainforest while encouraging mindful use of resources.
Practical guidance is provided so guests can settle in comfortably and confidently.
