Being Naked Here

You can be naked here for a week and not be seen by anyone. That comes from where the buildings sit and what has grown up between them, so it does not depend on anyone being careful. In the creek, in the garden, under the outdoor shower, walking between them: there is nowhere on either building's ground where you need to think about it first. That is what clothing-optional means here.

Staying dressed is just as ordinary. Nobody is keeping score and there is nothing to join in with. It can change by the hour, and often does: naked at the creek through the afternoon, dressed if the insects find you at dusk.

I won't tell you what it will do for you. My own view, after a long time here, is that being in the water and the air without clothes feels different from doing the same things in clothes, and that it is worth knowing which you prefer. Other people come here and stay dressed the whole time, and the place works for them too.

If you have not done this before, the only thing worth knowing is that there is nobody to compare yourself to and nobody to notice.

What is here is private land, warm air, the creek and the forest. What you do with that is your own business.
